Adult Swim is known as the late-night block of cartoon network and the first host of adult animated content on cable television. The network specialized in creating and featuring cartoons that take on a crude animation style, befitting of the raunchy and dark humor catered to a young adult audience. Referencing the MAD TV special aired on Adult Swim in the early 2000s, this sequence transmogrifies a wholesome scene of the MAD mascot (Alfred E. Neuman) with a giant ice cream sundae into a visceral gastrointestinal explosion onscreen resulting in a logo reveal comprised of regurgitated ice cream.
