Soundcloud is the largest music database in the world hosting over 125 million tracks. Catering to an audience of music streamers and content creators alike, my goal for this rebrand was to put Soundcloud on the map, grounding the brand in a real-world application as opposed to its purely digital existence.

In the development of this brand identity system, I pondered ways to visualize sound in an abstract way that lends well to a graphic style. Sourcing the shape language from components of sound such as frequency, wavelength, and resonance, I was able to build a kinetic brand ID that showcased the personality of the brand and the energy and creativity of its audience.

As a digital platform, I developed the user experience to be more simplified and accessible for both streamers and creatives which I addressed in the design for the web and mobile responsive site.
